After last month’s Stitch Fix shipment (which was a little underwhelming), I was really skeptical about this month’s Fix. I revamped my Pinterest board, and left a very detailed note to my stylist in the hopes that it would help guide them a little better. I shouldn’t have worried. Like, at all. My new stylist, Sarah, totally gets me (and wrote me an adorable note, pictured below). I asked for neutrals, stripes, and a dark colored blazer, and she did AWESOME! So here’s what I got in this month’s fix:
MARKET & SPRUCE Corinna Striped Dolman Top
I specifically asked for this top after I saw it on Pinterest, and I not only got the top, but even the color I wanted! The knit fabric is oh-so-soft, and its colors go with almost anything. Plus, the dolman silhouette makes it a nice, casual option for days that I just don’t feel like dressing up.
Verdict: Definitely keeping!
FREEWAY Luc Dress
Those of you who know me know that I am way more of a jeans & t-shirt girl than a dress girl, but this dress is pretty awesome. The fabric is soft and just stretchy enough to hug without being too tight, and it has POCKETS! The ruffle stitching detail on the bottom adds some interesting details to an otherwise simple dress, and it can be relatively easily dressed up or down.
Verdict: Not sure. I love the fit, but I don’t know how much wear I’d get from it.
LEVEL 99 Robbie Jogger Pant
I asked my stylist for olive colored pants, and she delivered! And, these joggers are SO COMFY! Seriously. They feel like sweat pants. They have a drawstring waist, which kind of reminds me of my grandpa’s pants, but you can’t really see them, so I don’t really care. Plus, they seem to be Buck approved!
PIXLEY Bramley Back Lace Detail Knit Tank
I’m not sure about this tank. From the front, it looks like any other grey tank, but the back is much more dramatic. However, I usually wear cardigans, so the chances of it being seen are little to none. Still, the fabric is a lot nicer than your standard tank, so even without the lace visible, it would still look good under a cardigan or blazer. Plus, its comfy.
Verdict: Probably keeping.
TART Salma French Terry Striped Blazer
Tart’s French Terry blazers are probably some of the most comfortable items in my wardrobe. They are so soft and feel like pajamas, but they’re tailored and look so professional. That being said, I’m not sure how I feel about the stripes. Usually, I love them. Here, I just don’t know. It fits like a dream, and I love the navy color, but I don’t know what to wear it with.
Verdict: Leaning towards yes, but still unsure.
So what do you think? What should I keep, and what should I send back? Leave me a comment and let me know! Then, sign up for your own fix here!
